So Clever…

Everyone have seen this TV commercial before right?
The one from formula milk, the father teach his son by pointing at the orchid: “Flower.” Then the son said: ” No.” Then the father have to repeated few times, baru the son said: “Is orchid.” then the father said: “So clever…”
Now a day this is exatcly what most of the parents wants their kids to be lor–so clever…
But I don’t see any clever of the kid in the TV commercial, or I rather say–so kiasu…
By pass the basic knowledge and jump to the higher level.
Usually how we normal teach our kids? We teach flower, hand, eye, ear, nose, mouth…then later come to more detail–rose, jasmine, orchid…finger, palm, nail…eye ball, eye brow, eye lashes…nostril, nose hair…tongue, teeth, lip…
Right?
But no, before know 1+1=2, they start learning 5364+6475=TMD (ta-ma-de 他妈的), everything must be faster than other people, everything have to be better than other people, imagine a skyscraper without a good, strong foundation.
This is only on study, and how about the personality also being so kiasu like this? before learn how to give, they learn how to take, or rather they by pass the “give”, just simply jump to “take”. Oh O…aren’t this the early baby develoment did right not? take from the develop needy children, give to their perfectly normal children?
The kids have nothing to do with this, the bl**dy parents did.
