Something About Comic Strips

Glad to know the comic I draw got great respond, what is more happy than people praise me on my work :P.
I drew some comic strips years before, I did it with black marker on paper, but after I scanned it I threw the original (or misplaced? Forgot.), then years later PC got problem, and then I lost the scanned images as well, very sayang hor? Nvm, can draw some more now.
Thanks for the comments, seriously very valuable, since I will have a long long long reply on the comments, might as well blog a little bit about the comic.
Comic strips need a lot life experience, but beside this imagination also very important, some of the story might not happen on me (like the drooling), but I think put it on myself will be very funny (my dad once said the best joke is joke on my own self, instead of others).
But I’ll have more on the girls which is really happen on them (yes, Letti, Isabelle really did it, and many time already).
I still try on the character, like myself (yah, Twinsdad also said the latest one I drew really looks like Tintin!!!) I do without the spec, because I lazy to draw spec, and I hate spec (going to buy contact lens liao, because Isabelle always pull my spec, whereas Annabelle very protect and concern about my spec, she tell me to wear spec every morning).
I sometime forgot how I drew myself or the girls on the last strip, so…hehehe…that was why you all find the faces always looks different (err…I lazy to open the file and check), will try to improve that also.
I wear sarong at home most of the time, what cloth better that sarong in this tropical climax? And I think it will make my comic look unique too.
The comic so far I did it with Adobe Photoshop, by using the pencil tool move around the stroke with the mouse, I find it quite easy, at least no need to trace again an again, and can erase the line easily. It wouldn’t take long, usually 1 to 2 hours can finished liao, if use the marker on paper will take me a least one whole day, like what I did last time. May be next month will ask Twinsdad to invest a touch pad for me, this month cannot liao, because this morning he just bought me a PenPower Chinese writing pad.
Emm…what earthtone said is right, the first dialog box should put on the top, so it wouldn’t be confusing, noted.
I like to draw comic strip, like what Lilian said it is better than words (sometime), but I don’t want to “force” myself on it come out with a comic strip everyday, because the lazy-me will protest when the busy-me push her on some subject :P.
Err…does the comic blog more easy than writing the blog to me? Emm…it is, because I no need to check spelling…muahahaha…
