Mouth Ulcers

Starting from last Sunday morning, found Isabelle got few ulcers in her mouth, the biggest one about the size of my little finger nail underneath her tongue, she has not been sleeping well this few nights, so as Twinsdad—Isabelle will looks for daddy when her ulcers pain, but later found even though with daddy’s hugs and kisses the ulcers still pain, may be daddy not good enough, then will looks for mommy, after sleep on mommy tummy still can’t get away the pain, may be get back to daddy will feel better. So whole night she was switching from one tummy to another chest.
We a bit panic on the day after I found the ulcers in her mouth, because her cousin sister Min-Li just recovered from HFM disease two weeks ago, and the girls had been quite closed recently, because I sent them to BIL#2’s house when I back to bakery.
Even though I double and triple check her hand and feet make sure there is no red patch and dot, and she have no fever, but still we very uncertain about it.
Thinking of bring her to see pediatrician, so quickly checked all the registration cards (there are 7 of them).
Pediatrician A, B, and C not open on Sunday.
Pediatrician D, E, and F only open until

Twinsdad: “Hello, G clinic, I understand you close on
GCN: “Ai yoh, cannot lar, today a lot people wor, we cannot wait lar.”
Twinsdad: “Oh, ya kah? But urgent lar.”
GCN: “Sorry lar sir.”
Twinsdad: “OK lar then, nvm.”
Twinsmom: “Do you think UMMC one open today?”
Twinsdad: “May be not, Do you think we can wait until tomorrow, tomorrow morning we go OUG see Dr. K?”
Twinsmom: “I not sure leh…*really not sure*…”
Twinsdad: “Come, we go UMMC then see how.” very good mind reader.

Anyway…GP said not HFM disease lar, it will cure by it self, just some virus. OK…
But then the next day (Monday) evening we brought Isabelle see a pediatrician again—because that day morning I found few more at the back of her throat! She still no fever and nothing appear on her hand and feet, but I know both Twinsdad and me need a 100% sure peace of mind.
Result—definitely not HFM disease *phew*…RM35 to get a *phew*. And the pediatrician gave us the same oral aid like the one we got from GP.
Now after five days the ulcers seems a lot better, at least she now enjoy her favorite biscuit in the living room and not complain anything, but wait…Annabelle just came in to complain her mouth pain pain, well…seems like another sleepless nights ahead…
Awww… So kesian Isabelle. *hugs hugs*
Have you tried “BONJELA”? A transparent gel ulcer treatment cream. It taste sweet. Maybe you can ask the doctor whether is it suitable for kids or not.

Jason, they prefer the oral aid more than the Bonjela, Bonjela “la” their ulcers lar.
MG, Annabelle got it, but smaller not so big one like Isabelle.

ya lor, first one is A, then A not open go find D lor, then D and A not available mah find B lor…so ended up so many…*sigh*…
I got 1 pediatrician open on Sunday wor so no need worry no ped. to see

Orajel is another good one, it has an anaesthetic so the ulcers don’t hurt, but if you get it on your tongue the tongue goes numb also…very funny.
