SIL: “Mei mei, want to go holiday?”
Annabelle: “Yah, yao4(want).” *beaming*
SIL: “Gu-ma bring you and jie jie go holiday at the beach side, we can build sand castle. OK?”
Isabelle: “I wanna go, I wanna go.”
Annabelle: “Thank you gu-ma bring mei mei holiday.” Hug and kiss SIL.
Later Twinsdad came back from office…
SIL: “You still got leave left? Want to bring the kids to holiday?”
Twinsdad: “Got. Why all the sudden want to go vacation again?”
SIL: “You daughter lor, I joked bring her to holiday, she immediately thanks me already, how can I not keep the promise?”
Twinsdad: “OK, you book the place, let me know the date, I need one week advance to apply leave.”
Up stair…
Twinsdad: “Sis said want to bring the girls to holiday.”
Twinsmom: “Yah, I know.”
Twinsdad: “Why she told the girls she will bring them to holiday, and I have to take leave?”
Twinsmom: “Hahaha…why don’t you ask her?”
*This is my SIL tactic, she love to go vacation, we always say Genting Highland is her second home, imagaine how often she go to Genting.
And beside Genting, she share with a friend bought the time sharing programme, since then she almost every three months will take leave go some where to unwind.
Since she love to travel, she love to bring the girls too, but the girls still a bit young for her to handle single handedly, so always use the-girls-want-to-go-holiday as an reason to get her brother driving.
This tactic not only apply on holiday, apply on shopping as well–ask the girls want to go shopping? the girls said yes, then she will tell Twinsdad the girls want to go 1 Utama shopping.
Or apply to food as well, tell Twinsdad the girls wants to go eat satay.
Anyway…I love to go vacation too,hehehe…so this Sunday 7th, we will go to Lumut, YEAH!…holiday…again…
Wow…!! so lucky..!! i had planned to go on vacation.. but then you see what is going on .. at work right..???!!!?? so my spouse said.. no holiday lor.. otherwise gotta keep workers we donch wanna keep.. so he said.. wanna go holiday.. gotta keep back workers..
So i say.. nevermind.. no holiday.. i rather not deal with bad workers.
hahaha… I’m sure you are happy she uses this tactic often
because that means you have more vacations!!
Big Bok, when doing retail vacation is something so near and yet so far, really like you say have to depends on some reliable workers.
Just like my parents, the only time they went for vacation was during CNY when they still running the cake shop.

Bart, SIL’ time sharing plan not included the resort in Pangkor lor, so as long got beach anywhere also OK lar.

hahaha..i always use this trick to 1+2dad said the kids want to go park or shopping..so he mar want to go lor cause kids want mar he dun dare to say no. For me he sooooo many excuse.

MG, make sure your baby can talk properly already hor, otherwise Mr.MG will know this is trick.

shiaulin, thanks for the tip but I sked this way a bit obvious. Since my toddler can talk well already, maybe during daytime I coach her to say over dinner “Daddy, I want to go to the beach.” Hahahaha.
