Not everyone will like to wear tiara on their wedding day, in Malaysia most of the lady will choose to wear fresh flower instead of the tiara. And even though if they happen to choose tiara, the very usual enquirement are:
“Can you please make it smaller?” or
“Can you make it not so noticeable?” or
“Can you design a tiara don’t looks too glamour?”

Oh, come on girls…this is your big day, you are not going to prom, or cocktail party. You are the main character of the show, why so worry the tiara make you look too glamour? You are the queen of the night, you suppose to looks glamour, gorgeous, goddess.

Of cause I’m not talking about you having a 8 table wedding dinner, but then wear a tiara like late Princess Diana.

When a lady order a tiara, the info I need beside the look of the bride, her frame, her hair style, her make up on the big day, the colour, texture, design of her wedding gown, also her religion (I don’t want to ended up making a tiara with a 6 angle star for Muslim, or a cross (any form of it) for a buhhdist. Another thing I need to know also how many guests she has invited, the design of the tiara very much depends on all this info.

This was one of the piece I made for a bride for her wedding day daytime accessery.

Her gown was plain white satin, good material, simple design and cutting, no veil. Short hair boyish cut, a little curly. church wedding, no dinner but a buffet lunch after the wedding, number of guest 100.

So this is what we came out with–

Very simple hair band, I made it with the rhinestone chain, used the black colour crafting wire tied it on the hairband wire, and wrapped the link between the stone.

After wearing it the black crafting wire will blend in nicely with her hair colour, so only the stone can be seen.

I like it, so did the bride and her family, and her sister was the most happy, said she can borrow for cocktail party. But the bride said: “Oop! sorry, this is a souvenir of my wedding.”…

This is another same design but silver colour version.

*curious* how does the info about the # of guest attending help in designing the piece?

the number of the guest show the size of the wedding function,
if it is a small wedding, no point to make a tiara like Queen E right?
but if it is a big wedding, this hair band wouldn’t look nice isn’t it?
