In the phone…
Twinsdad: “I’ll be late, around 10pm.”
Twinsmom: “OK, did you read the e-mail I sent to you in the afternoon?”
Twinsdad: “Oh, yah! I laugh out so loud in the office, everybody look at me, thought what is wrong with me.”
Twinsmom: “Very funny meh? I was horrified you know?”
Twinsdad: “What? everything OK, nothing happen what. And thanks for that mail, I was so frustrated and geram just now, after reading the mail my tension on work all loosen up lor.”
Twinsmom: “Yah…very funny…you should see how freaking out I was.”
Twinsdad: “But it is very funny, especially the picture…”
Twinsmom: “Talk to you after work.”
OK, below is the e-mail and photo I sent to Twinsdad–
emm…daddy…tell you something you don’t scold me hor?
just now about to bath the girls tht time, a friend call to ask some breastfeeding problem, so I cakap with her for a while.
after got back to bath room, the girls are playing with their water bucket, so I process to bath them, while washing jie jie hair, found a lot of hair fell off, I freak out and ask jie jie was she cut her hair, she said no, then I ask mei mei: “jie jie hair so nice, who cut wan?” then meimei said she cut jiejie hair, and she also said she put back the scissor already and point to me. I immediately check her hand and everything, ask them anywhere pain pain or not, they said no (if yes, I die).I’m sorry, is my fault, I shouldn’t let them be alone in the bathroom, and I under-estimate them, they can reach the scissor which hanging on the side there!
I promise I will not answer any call when they about to bath.this is how jie jie hair looks like now–
Well, a year ago when my friend told me how her 5 years old took a scissor cut her own hair, from long till short like dog bitten, I lectured my friend should be more careful on child safety.
Now? Big slap on my face, so pandai lecture friend 
.
Thanks goodness nobody get hurt, if anyone of them the finger got cut, or their ear got cut, I’ll be in deep big sh*t, and daddy will not laugh at all.
Lesson learn–never, never under-estimate our kids, even though they not reach three, they know load of thing (which we thought they don’t know).
Actual conversation below–
*wash hair*…pull a bunch of hair out from Isabelle’s head 
“JIE JIE!!! What happen to your hair?”
She look down on the floor, quiet…
Annabelle look at me…quiet…
Both sense something not right…
*trick*
*flower talk* “Whao…jie jie hair soooooooooooooo nice…how come jie jie hair sooooooooo nice? Who cut it?”
Hor…working…
Annabelle: “Mei mei cut, mei mei cut jie jie hair…nice?” before I answer, she continue:
“See? mei mei put back the jia-dao (scissor) already, see? see?” Point to the scissor.
“CAN.NOT.CUT.HAIR! So dangerous! what will happen if cut finger? pain pain you know? You want pain pain?”
“No…don’t want pain pain…” Want to cry liao.
“Next time don’t do it, OK?”
“OK.”
Then I realised I was sweating all over…*phew*…
Better hang the scissors higher loh~! Kekez, why never show the whole face of Isabelle? Like that very difficult to imagine one ler.
Hmm, anyway, lucky nothing happened. Hehe, I should tell Annabelle that whenever Mummy flower talk, dun fall to your trap.
ahhh, seems like motherhood is a tough journey that cannot be underestimated! you even have to play psychologic games with them! kudos to you twimsmom (i mean the way your flower talk), i thought it was really relevant and well done. i hope you all (and possibly your readers)have learned a great lesson (be it the scissor issue, or the way your deal with the scenario). I’ll jot these down in my minds.

but hor… the photo reminds me of myself when a few months after childbirth our hair will drop and when they start to grow again, it’s exactly that that
wah! luckily mei mei only cut a little bit and put back the scissor but why jie jie so “soon tan” and let mei mei cut her hair?
wah… where did your twins get the idea that scissors are use to cut hair?? you guys do your haircut at home??
well… kids are kids… they are learning..
so we as adults have to forgive and forget

phew! luckily no one is hurt. But twinsdad very calm man! I’ll freak out too, then check for any wounds and lastly give LOUD warning. “Jie-jie is very good coz she didn’t cut mei-mei’s hair…mummy dun scold jie-jie hah!”
Everyday sounds like a battlefield…whew..
Jason, the scissor quickly keep away lor, I hope I don’t keep until so secret I can’t find when I need it

egghead, yah….lor….I cut their hair since they born mah, so they know scissor is for cut hair and cut the packaging for biscuit.
Annie, hahaha…guess becos twinsdad know nobody was hurt lor, if anyone got hurt, he will be very kan-jiong.
ET, yah…different battlefield…Iraq wan, Afganistan wan, Africa wan…you name it.
phew! thank goodness nothing serious happened. *makes mental note - need to keep scissors away from our toddler*
oh i just cut my son’s hair yday !!! until so short like “pai kia” now
aiyo coz he keep moving mar make me 手震 loh… *sigh*
err think back and think.. this might give wrong impression to them cos when they think they are ’smart enuf’ not to hurt themselves liao then they will try to cut their hair again wor… i think u should add more flower talk like: mei mei cut nice but not as nice as mummy cut wor, so nxt time don’t let her cut ur hair and jie jie also don’t cut mei mei hair liao huh… then should be work forever (as girls all like to be pretty mah)
