First off – Thanks, twinsmom for changing the template to this beautiful baby blue…
I just dropped by Mr Kiasu’s site and was very surprised he had stopped blogging. And so long ago too.. My opinion of Mr Kiasu is he a very grey person. He oftens look at things very pessimistically.
But what’s valuable about him is he speaks his mind and he’s down-to-earth.
I see a bit of my young self in him, where I tore open everything right down to the last part and want to see the world in its real state. Peel away the hypocritism to get to the REAL thing. Both of us saw some ugly traits in people in blogsphere and cannot see open. That was part of the reason I chose to leave, besides being too pregnant. Not sure if he had gone away for the same reason. I hope he has found a job already.
The truth is, maybe there’s no ‘real’ or ‘true’ state, as we thought we saw. There’s only what we choose to see.
Well, maybe there is.
Chey..! Ghost know meh.
We should just do what our hearts tell us to do…like go kill some haolian chee.
I only know I stopped bloggin because I was doing too much thinking in my head I was going to explode. Sure blogging’s great. But not on a regular basis for me. No way.

Incidentally, on a totally unrelated note, the other day the news reported Temasek Holding is buying a stake in China Construction Bank. – CCB.
So the newscaster went on to say, with this purchase CCB will…..blah blah blah..
I laughed out loud. CCB is the initial for some hokkien dialect expletive in our local context.
But the newscaster read away about the good news happening with CCB….as if CCB really means China Construction Bank..what am I saying, of course it means that. But if she had known what it means in our local context, would she still be able to do that with a straight face ?
