KLCC Aquaria trip

I drop dead tire after came back from KLCC, Monday shop with Auntie Shirley, Tuesday SIL told me she took leave on Wednesday to bring the girls to KLCC Aquaria (which means I have to go along), I am exhausted, sleep from 10pm till 9am this morning. Now back ache some more, because the height of the showcase in the Aquaria not low enough for the girls, so me and SIL have to carry them most of the time, especially at the interactive touch screen computer, they wants to see the picture one by one, that’s why my whole body is aching now.
Eww…look at the snake, if you daddy is here sure his goose bump all up.
Isabelle a bit puzzle when we told her that is lizard too.
I don’t know how exactly the girls like the aquarium, they seems very happy being there, but when their daddy asked them want to go again, they say no.
So they like it or not I don’t know, but I LOVE it. May be because we visit on the weekday, and the promotion is over, so the aquarium rather quiet, but still more visitor than the one near zoo.
We paid RM28 per person with our Mykad shown, the girls FOC because still below three years old, and we also got a Aquaria CD-rom 
. We spent about 2 hours in the aquarium, going round and round, try to make the money worth well spent 
I love the undersea tunnel, I love the colour, I love the giant cylinder fish tank, I even dreamt I swimming inside last night (well, Annabelle must have a different feeling from me, she cried few times in horror last night in her dream)!
What are you thinking Annabelle? You had bad dream last night? why you cried so many times in your dream?
The girls very excited that they can “touch” the big fish, and they play the invisible game again, Isabelle asked Annabelle:
“You want eat fish?”
“Yes, I want.”
“Nah.” pick a fish from the tank and pass it to Annabelle. “Nice?”
“Nice, thanks you jie jie.”
“Welcome mei mei.”
This remain me of the weekend hypermarket on pay day.
Hehehe…can’t help but poke some fun on the fish eater.
I love the colour inside the tunnel, look like horror movie meh? Where got! my mind no ghost every where also no ghost
To me the shoe horse crab look like The Baby Alien in armor.
“Wha…fly kite.” My girls didn’t say this, an uncle said it.
Annabelle: “I want to swim, I want to go holiday.”

I told you I like it right? hehehe…
We spent sometime in the souvenir shop, I bought a greeting card only, the rest of the souvenir beside the T-shirt, bag and cards can represent the Aquaria, the rest all just like the normal merchandise in the shopping mall, but all in sea catagory lar, so doesn’t really associated with KLCC Aquaria. Souvenir is something when people see it will know immediately it is from certain places, but too bad those merchandise doesn’t say so, so not worth money spend.
I plan to go again, but alone. I want to really spend time with the creatures in the Aquaria, without the girls pulling me or want me to carry. A very interesting place to me.
But I didn’t see the weird spiece that Michelle mention on her trip there …

*Oh, before I publish this, another thing I want to remind all of you, the food in the food court outside the Aquaria…not nice…really, only the NZ Natural ice cream is nice 
.
Oh, another thing to add– a pair of couple from Middle East keeps hitting on the glass of the lizard show case, but no workers around then, so I (yah, me again) went forward told them not to do that…with the “cat”‘s manner .

Your pictures look fantastic. My hubby was afraid to use the flash, scare disturb the fish.
Hehehe, sorry if you didn’t get to see the weird specie, he actually wave to my gal and she wave back. Now where can you get a specie in Aquaria that does that??
Souvenir, I got a whale & a frog that can expand when you leave it in the water. I also got a tee for my son and a magnet bottle opener for the fridge.

aiyo, you should have warned me beforehand, but I did not expect to see snakes. i have great phobia with snakes … maybe annabelle is the same like me .. who knows …

Hubby & I take leave on 30th August to bring our kids to Aquaria. Really worth coz less crowd and we do 2 rounds in the tunnel coz my daughter love the shark so much and she want to meet her shark, again and again..

I heard the Aquaria is a crazy project, because it’s one of the few aquariums that is built so far from the sea – they must bring in 60,000 tons of salt to add to the fresh water!
Annabelle looks like she has a halo, with that super shiny hair! (I wonder, when they grow up, will the hair remain as shiny..?

So glad to hear ur experience was better than mine. I guess going on a weekday instead of a weekend made the difference. I’m sure if we had more time to see all the aquatic animals, we would have had a nicer time there.
But I’m sticking to my original review. Aquaria KLCC sucks during holidays and weekends!!
Be smart like Twinsmom SIL, take leave and go on a weekday.

1+2mom, we took the LRT to KLCC, then from the lower ground of KLCC near the KFC got a tunnel straight to the Aquaria, very convenient.

Snakes are pretty…you just have to learn to look at them the right way. (sorrylah I’m a Bio student so I like all kinds of animals that other people think are strange)
