Read from Leecs this morning (or yesterday?) My Life - 我的生活 & 废话连篇: salad tower in the making..10.10.2005.
I can’t help but ROTFLOL… some more got picture, and some more he said this is not an expert, hope CS dine more in Pizza hut in hope to get the expert picture.
Many years ago before pak-tor with Twinsdad, I used to had buffet or hi-tea with girl friends on the weekend, but serously never see this kind of scene before. Rush to the food or wait for the foods, yes. But never stack the foods in this way, may be happen during festive season open house, which I never attent one, so never see before lar .
but then once I read an article written by a Taiwanese writer, she critisiced the manner of her folks on the buffet dining, in one of the paragraph she wrote —
…a well dress lady took a plate, scoop a layer of fried rice, then a layer of fried mee, follow by the chicken, beef, prawns, and veggies, finish with cakes :tmsh:, and then scoops of ice cream :tmsh: :tmlol2: :tmgreen:.
Then the waitress told the lady that she can go few more round instead of take the foods in one time, the lady replied she as a fine lady feel embarrass to go many round for food, so batter go one round and not many people notice her like a glutton!!!…
Walau eh…
that picture really not that expert. i could make it higher .. no joke. it’s just a matter on how to build it up … you have to know which ingredient to use to go to base, which on tops .. and know how to use the sauce to assist you in making your salad bowl to have an impressive height.
well, yeah, it’s a matter to get the best out of the value I admit, but on the same time, I consider it as a challenge …
Hey, this is just a way to spice up my life …

But damn funny.. some of these wai-sek-kuai eat buffet and how they want to stretch their money.

Zara’s Mum, LOL… what to do, everyone have different reason to build the tower, let see next time I go salad bar want to take this chellenge or not, but I don’t think I will lar :lol:…

received email before on what to stack as base, sauce to hold the ingredients inplace and then voila! salad stacked for 10 people… all done at the pizza hut salad counter
after stack go back to own table and divide into 10 plates… so paiseh for those people, tower was much higher than these pics
Siao_cha_bor, may be the time we want to diet should bring someone who is good on making buffet tower? seefood diet.
