A bit of update on my breastfeeding experience..
Last night I fed Baby formula.
He was too hungry.
At first I put the breast to him, he grabbed it up like a lion. WOW.
When he found no milk, he cried so hard and was so angry like he was going to kill me when he grows up.
Those eyes were so stern.
(haha, no milk how to grow up and kill mommy ?? har? har? be courteous and say please !)
Then he hated me. Pushed me away.
My mom woke up and got nervous with his crying and scold.”Why you make him cry like that?”
**GGGGGRRRLLLL***
“Dun say that lah, Ma..!”
Mom realised I frustrated and looked sorry.
No choice. Papa and Grandma say give formula, Baby just will not stop crying.
Nevermind, give lor. :ethappy:
I’ve since learnt. No one way to do things, must be flexible. Must listen to everybody.
So give him form milk by spoon. He gobbled like 10 days never eat..Wah heart pain man…Why mommy do this to him?
Ok share my method har:-
If I give plain vanilla milkless breast, he sure cry.
So gave two spoons of formula, he began to suck, quickly bring to breast to ‘place order’. He sucked sucked sucked, then he cried again. Cos no breast milk mah, realised kena conned. Take out my breast from his mouth, spoon formula milk to him again. Repeat, until he looked like he was going to kill me when I brought him to my milkless breast again. (Mommy scared scared Baby lah…dun give me your killer look lah.)
Last night 4 times feeding all like that.
This morning, a little breast milk comes out. :etgrin:
Latched him on and he stayed and sucked. Took out the nipple and pressed, yee…got milk liao… Yay!!
Thanks to my Mom, my husband and Twinsmom for all the encouragement and help. Very fun hee..

p/s I won’t be getting online often. Cos damn tired.

alternatively… you could use a pump to help your flow also…

Wah how come Egghead so familiar, was about to suggest the pump to help you produce milk. Try the Avent manual pump, it helps alot.
yaayyyyy!!! got milk…. follow Egghead’s advice also hor, pump when you feel milk coming in but baby not hungry yet
soon your breast will build a timing and everytime your baby’s hungry, you will feel milk coming

Time for breast milk food
Here is some : Peanut and tail soup, papaya and ribs soups 
Congratulations ET! The experienced breastfed baby’s father Egghead is right you know. Pumping will help with your supply. Perservere and you can do it and don’t stress yourself up about giving a little formula. Its ok as long as you keep trying, don’t give up and baby will get it in the end. Mine took 2 months before he got it but its sure worth it!

Yeah, keep pumping even after feed (if you are not too tired), that will sure increase milk supply!
