I think it’s always fun to teach children how to say their age on their birthday. It’s so funny when they say I’m 3 but show the victory sign.
My little niece is turning 3 next Feb too. Dun think i’ll have a chance to teach her how to say 3 years old.

Same here. My soon-to-be 3 years old only repliies in English while the baby sitter speaks to her in Mandarin all these while and they understand each other well!
actually abit difficult for 3-years old (baby) kid to speak mandarin & english as well…
anyway, they r really cute… she try 称赞 u to 分散注意力… haha..

“kek” but smiling inside hor…they so cute and we like to “kacau” them. My Ah Girl likes to speak mandarin wor..though she speaks English most of the time. Hubby & myself speak mandarin, so Ah Girl likes to interrupt…that’s how she pick up mandarin lor!
LOL!! Soon or later they will know what they said lar, like my son he know some manderin words but dosent mean he understand what it is. But my son know the difference between manderin and english cause he speaks english with me but he speaks manderin with my IL.
