This morning I fed Ziheng..so cuuuuttte..man. his face round round, eyes round round.
In the middle of the night after his father fed him, he changed him and took off his mittens.
So this morning his chubby hands with the roundish fingers were doing dunno what at his face all the time.. you know, babies, they like to bring their hands to their faces.. and then look like he’s turning a knob on his cheeks or something.
After the whole thing, red scratches all over the face.
I was so sleepy…was torn between falling back to sleep and watching his cute babyish moves.
So after hands-on-face for a while, suddenly realise mommy is watching him.Stared back and broke into a sweetestest smile.. aiyo….mommy melt liao…
Night feeds are fun ( frequency once per night ). First, the noisy breathing wakes you up. You hear the little guy thumping the bed with his feet. Impatient crying when he was smaller has since mellowed into occasional shouts of. “I……..! Why !”
By the time the milk is ready and I get to the cot, he is already waving his hands and legs like a little spider. When he sees me, the panic escalates. Pant pant pant…head swinging left and right in search of the bottle.
Pick him up.
As soon as my hands touch him, he will bring both hands to the side of his face and lift up both his legs, forming into a meatball. Hmm..how does baby know it’s much easier to lift him by shortening himself so that the centre of gravity concentrates into the middle of his body? Wah, baby knows physics.
Having picked him up and settled to start feeding. By this time, the milk addict is already in the peak of his hunger. pant pant pant, head swings left and right…
Chuck the bottle in. Not latched yet. Still swinging head left and right. Hasn’t realised the bottle is already in his mouth.
At last latched. suck suck suck suck..suck in - eyes widen, swallow - eyes relax. suck in - eyes widen, swallow - eyes relax..etc . Palms open and close, feet tapping. Such beautiful body language. With full intensity and concentration like his whole life depends on it. Oh then again, his life does depend on the milk.
Then there’s the waking ritual. Before fully waking up each time, there will be the usual session of cat stretches, wriggling the body, more hands-on-face action and punching into the air, with the little fist vibrating at the end. haha..little cub.
so sweet…!
can’t remember how was mine :(. can’t remember so much body language :(.
so envy… you having all the fun now…
aahh! I remember one thing, after they got fed, the looks of satisfaction… a bit like drank
Yes, their body language is the only way they can communicate to us, so must really have big action and movement.
They are so cute ler.. babies.. Quick, I must have my next one!
Once they have taken their milk and satisfied, they will ‘doot’ or pout their mouth up.. Cute!
Enjoy them..ET.. while they are young..!

egghead - yah…so sweet. morning coffee no more need sugar these days.
twinsmom - yah! I forgot the stomach full part..quite funny also..you can’t remember because you were too busy with two!!
zara’s mama - I see…no wonder their every movement so exaggerated. When he cry we always say dun cry dun cry…then one day he stops crying, we wonder whether he’s really hungry..I actually told him..hungry? cry lah, mama wants to know…
mama bok, shiaulin and blur sand… I will and I am…
Really, do enjoy this moment now and savour the moment with pics!

Hmm, precise and detail description of Ziheng body movement and face expression. Good you still can enjoy that to ‘forcing’ wake up in the middle of the night. lol
quick, get a digicam and record the whole thing and then make a VCD,
P - hee..I dun believe that. After seeing pple like twinsmom, mama bok, zara’s mom, shiaulin,MG etc etc etc enjoyign so much..
PS - not every night so fun ler..
