Update on Baobao

Ziheng is recovering well. I am back to work today. No heart to work.
He’s been a good and brave boy. The nurses and doctors at KK are amazing. They have such a way with babies.
He had the operation on Tuesday. It went well. Had tubes all over him the first day. Now, slowly off tubes. Not much swelling. Off anestasia (sp?) now. Going to be a bit painful.
Yesterday when the bandage was taken off, can see a zig zag cut across his head. They staple it up after surgery.
He wants to be carried but we cannot, with the tubes, so he’s a bit fretful. Lucky the nurses are quite good with comforting him.
Shd be ok…
this brings back the memory when my son was born and was admitted to NICU straight-away with all the tubes attached to him… I welled up every time I saw him… I guess you are much stronger than I am… keep it up!
