Kids | 笔者: Twinsmom
Two nights ago Twinsdad had gone out watching football with his schoolmates, came back told me our friend’s twins start talking, with their own langauge; their very very own langauge — both of them climbing the stair, the leading twin turns and gibberishs to the sister, and the sister “answer”.
Gosh… brought back so much memory to us…
I read some article before said the twins (or more) usually learn to talk later than singleton, I don’t know how true it is, because I have no one to compare, but our friend told us, their 1st and 2nd kid learn to talk in very early stage, their twins compare with their borther and sister show much slower.
because they have their own way to communicate with each other.
We was amused by our twins before, when they start “talking” (around 18 months old), they just let all the sounds come out from their mouth, and another one will listen and “answer”, and they can have lenghtly conversation, just sit there and chit chat, or playing, passing toys, “talk” to each other. Left us some room of imagination to guess what they talking about.
I really miss that stage, they “gabagaba uhuhahah klikla…” with each other and giggling or laughing.
or fighting
They was 23 months then. Annabelle speak later than Isabelle, but now she is the most chatty.
I miss the first time Isabelle say “wower (flower)”, I miss the time Annabelle calls everyone “mei mei”, because we all call her mei mei, she must has thought that is the universal address to everyone.
I miss them.

ang gugu, jiak moi poi tauhu…
Was trying so hard to make out what they were babbling about - heehee, can only hear dat they’re trying to communicate with each other in their own alien language. But it was so surprising dat they could understand each other, rite?
Hahaha, u miss their baby talks? They are still with u day in and day out and still talking with each other, only dat u understand what they are talking now.
haha! So cute!
I can heard one of them sreaming daddy and something like 爸爸不给妹妹。Hehe, can’t quess anymore what they said!:)
all I heard was “gili gulu… papa mama…”, must be talking some alien language that is only known to under 2 yrs old
MISS??? you still can get a new one, er…another twins?
really kilikulu don’t know what they are saying.. but like they are in a serious conversation.
The MeiMei ah.. is the clearest.
You can have another set of twins.. and relive this stage again mah..
Sounds like they are talking the “Pingu” Language.
wah wah wah….
kilikulu..also cannot understand… actually didi they understand what they saying ar???
funny…..
Now is my time to guess what my twins said..haha. I like they talk when me and my son still nap. Dunno what they talk but they like to talk and play by themselve when i pretent sleep.
My twins they talk early ler compare with my son. They now start talk in a sentences but that time my son at their age he still talk word by word.
>> dSaint, when you going to be father? then I move you to parents list
>> Tracy, yah, when they baby talk I wish I know what they talk about, but now… I can understand what they say, but I miss that stage.
>> Jefferene, you better than us, I can only hear Annabelle said “mei mei ah…”
>> Egghead, see? so much room for imagination isn’t it.
>> Tom, Zara’s mama, another one or two?…
>> Allyfeel, EXACTLY!!!! hahaha… never thought about that. no wander I like to watch Pingu.
>> Milly, they actually understand each other, funny.
>> 1+2mom, hahaha… your twins chit chat with the langauge their kor kor don’t know leh.
>> cming, 是嚄,当它们青春期的时候,正是我的更年期嚄… 惨… 要打仗了:lol:
>> 青苹果,是啰,真的很想念,连她们的爸爸也很想念:D
Since my sister and I are 9 years apart, I sort of remember how she did the baby talk– when she said “bu shi” (no), she always mispronounced it as “bee shi”, which sounded really cute. And she would wipe her face immediately after we kiss her with her hands (I asked her now, why she did it? She said because my mouth stinks O_O) When she was 12 months old, I asked her to differentiate the clothes (i.e. which belonged to Mom, and which belonged to Dad etc.)She gave all correct answers. Smart ass. Those were the days lah, when my and my brother had to help my mama change her diapers, I really hated it when she “da bian”, as I was changing her diaper for her she still look at me and laugh, like “hehehe, smell my shit lar you” like that. Aduh!
Lucky my mom took a lot of pics–maybe one day when I “eat full nothing to do” I will learn how to convert them into .gif files, hehe.
But your twins are really, really smart and cute. I am sure they would be very appreciative of you when they grow up, when they see what you have done to record their growing process. I was an 80s baby, so no digicam or anything like that lah. Only pics.
I second you reader’s proposal, open factory and create another pair of twins!
Wah I very “long gas”, better stop now…
my hubby do the gogo gaga talk with my belle once in while and belle will respond to him exactly the same language and both of them will be in deep conversation and giggling and laughing all the way. father and daughter really gila gila one!
>> Miracle8, whao… 9 years apart? then you and your brother must be very sayang your baby sister :D. and not bad you got early traning on diaper change some more , that time you hate it, but now I am sure it is a very memorable moment for you right?
Emm… I still remember I made milo for my youngest brother, and he claimed that was the best Milo he had ever taste :D.
