Many years ago, in Old Town…
mother sleep on the sofa, the son woke her up and said:
“If you tire, go room to sleep.”
Mother said: “I am not sleeping, closed eye nap for a while only.”
Many years later, in Petaling Garden…
Husband sleeping on the sofa, wife woke him up and said:
“Go to bed if you tire.”
Husband said: “I am not sleeping, just closed eye only.”
Just now in the afternoon…
Annabelle drifted off on the sofa, Isabelle tried to call her, I told Isabelle: “Don’t disturb mei mei, mei mei oii-oii.”
Annabelle open her eye and said: “Mei mei no oii-oii, closed eye only.”
I told Twinsdad about it: “First was your mom, then passed to you, and now mei mei follow you.”
Twinsdad said: “Yah, everytime I try to napin the afternoon, she will tell me not to sleep, so I jsut tell her I am not sleeping, just close eye only.”
This is how the wisdom pass through generations.
can not use on my son leh….
especially when woke up 0630 by Xuan to accompany him to play car2 at living room..
“daddy 不要关眼睛,看Xuan Xuan玩car car”

Lol. Like mother like son like daughter! Mine tells me.. “I don’t want to close eyes, I don’t want to sleep, rest only, open eyes.”
She so cute, and pick up so fast..like father like daughter.

Hehehe…my hubby also like that one ler. Not sure if bb is gonna inherit this wisdom or not…;)
my daughter also like that… but neither me or her father taught her this…
