Batik robe

Have been thinking of make a robe for the girls, especially make it with batik, I thought it would be nice. But my sewing skill very limited, especially I don’t know how to meassure the cutting.

SO I just cut two rectangular piece of batik, sew the side, left a hole on each side for hand, then the top insert the rubber band and… done –

What do you think? very simple, but very cooling.

    wah, u also can sew too! u make the sleeve loose & longer a bit , then will look like butterfly dress liao (like those malay women like to wear one)…

    ei..not bad ler. Looks very “liang suang” . I can hardly sew…they look happy in it.

    Wah, like dat oso can ar? Simple and nice. Isabelle doesn’t seem to like the robe leh. Is dat Annabelle in the 2nd pic.?
