Kids | 笔者: Twinsmom

hmm… the girls are almost 3 1/2 years old, and I can no longer keep track on their developement like other mothers did, by counting months, and what they can do or talk.

But still they never fail to surprise us.

:s:

The cloud getting heavier, it seems like going to rain for sure. I saw the potty instead at the usual spot — the end of the corridor, it is now at the corner before the corridor.

I asked who moved the potty there. Annabelle said:

“Mei mei put the potty there.” “Why?”

“Going to rain ah, ah(after) the floor (corridor) wet wet cannot walk, very dangerous, mei mei want to go shh-shh, how?”

:mstun:

Gosh… she knows! she notice! Every raining day I will place the potty at the corner to avoid them step on the wet corridor.

:s:

We came back from shopping, enter the door the girls taking their she off, being MissyNeat, Annabelle took her shoe off and place it nicely on the staircase. Whereas Isabelle MissyMessy being herself — flung her shoe off and went straight to upstair.

I called her “Jie jie, please put your shoe nicely.”

“Mei mei, put the shoe nicely for me please.”

“OK.” Annabelle arrange Isabelle’s shoe nicely and neatly.

:mstare: 一个愿打,一个愿挨。

:s:

I was watching TV in the living room, Annabelle came to me “Mommy, I want to watch Pooh bear wor.”

“No lar, you have been watching the Pooh bear whole day, now mommy’s turn to watch TV.”

“No… mommy say can ah…”

“No, I never say ‘can’.”

“Mommy say ‘no’.”

“Yes, I said ‘no’ already.”

“No… you said ‘no’ like this.” nodding her head.

Want to see what she is up to, so I nod my head and said “No.”

“Neh, Mommy’s head said ‘yes’. Mei mei can watch Pooh bear.”

:msweat:

:s:

Isabelle came to me “mommy I want nen-nen.”

“No lar, you just had your dinner, nen-nen later.”

“Can ah.”

“Cannot.”

She retreat to the living room. minutes after, she came to the study again.

“Mommy, jie jie so happy.”

“Why you so happy?”

“Jie jie love mommy, jie jie so happy.”

I beaming with joy.

“Jie jie so happy, jie jie want nen-nen.”

:msee:

:s:

Annabelle trip and fell on the floor “Jie jie, mei mei fall down, help me please.”

Isabelle’s hand still on the mouse, eye on the monitor, but her mouth making promise “OK, of course I will help you, I am coming.”

Just after finish her line, she left the mouse and gives her hand to Annabelle “Are you OK? are you alright?”

Annabelle stand up, pad her knee “I am OK, thank you.”

“You are welcome.”

:mh2:

:s:

Tell me, who said kids watch too much TV not good? Depends on what programme they watch, the girls not only speak well, and polite too (if they want), and… even got ang-mo slang :mp:

Twins, yet they have different characters. No doubt Isabelle is prettier than Annabelle but I like Annabelle more. Maybe she looks like Destinee (heehee).

My girl will always want us to say ‘welcome’ whenever she says ‘thank you’ and vice versa. When asked “who taught u?”. She’ll say “mommy lor”. (heehee) Other than this, she’ll say “Barney lor”, “Jojo lor” (Jojo’s Circus) or “Elmo lor”.

I’m sure they do learn a lot from TV programmes (of course educational ones) cos when they learnt something from the programmes, they’ll ‘computerised’ them and ‘pop’ out when the time is rite and when u least expected.

    >> Tracy, why you think Isabelle more pretty huh? I came across few people told me Annabelle very pretty leh. and I think they have different kind of beauty.

yah, they “input”, “store” it, then “run” LOL…
