Last time G’hong show me Phoebe’s drawing, then I look at some of the drawings that done by the kid same age with my girls, I think my kids may be don’t have our gene on drawing, both me and Twinsdad can draw well, why my girls seems… hardly see them draw something that I can assemble it as a object. anyway… never very concern about it, if they couldn’t draw well, they will do something else.
But then few days ago Isabelle draw something on the envelope I gave her —
Annabelle also draw something similiar like this — big round face, with big eye taken half of the space of the face, a dot in the eye as pupil, a long and curve line across the face as mouth (so big mouth).
I show to Twinsdad: “Why our daughters draw the face like this? Do you think it is a face? Or do you think they saaw an alien?”
Twinsdad take a look and laugh…

From my first glanced, i think your girl has innate drawing comic’s skills. Who knows?!

Hahaha…that’s their way of interpreting your faces on paper. Give them more time, they still need to developed on how to hold the pencil/pen correctly.

Yeah, give them more time, sooner or later they will draw human face instead of allien! i ever become allien b4 too..LOL

Twinsmom 3 years old can draw better than Belles 3 years old ar?

Isabelle can draw! I think its really good for a three year old. And yes you should get more cutesey purses like Hello Kitty or Mashimaro… cute little cartoons which your Belles can draw.
My sister loves to draw cartoons as well…

your sister still draw cartoon now? I remember someone show in her blog before her sibling’s cartoon, but I’m not sure it was you or someone else, bad memory.
I personally think the drawings are very creative. SOmething about them making full use of the space given to them, draw a large object. Many kids I know draw tiny objects/pictures on a large piece of paper.
And also if they really did copy the pictures from your purse, think about how observant they are. Be proud, be proud!

yah, many many years ago I teach children art, I saw one Jap kid always draw very small object, we give a big piece of paper, she draw in the middle, about the size of our thumb, don’t know how is she now, should be a mother already :D.
Hahaha, my Des used to draw ‘Alien’ faces too (refer to my blog Friday, December 09, 2005). Let ur Belles practise more, I’m sure they’ll surprise u (they have ur genes mar).
