We was watching the animation “Over the Hedge”, Isabelle stand in front of me, I was combing her hair. Then came to the scene that after the Turtle came out from hibernation, the sun shinning on the pond, the dragonflies flying on the water. Isabelle saw it and “Whoooo…”, then immediately the Turtle also “Whooo….” on the scenery. Isabelle turns to me, point to the Turtle beaming “Turtle said ‘whooo’ too.” then she turns back face the TV and said: “That is beautiful.”
side note: Isabelle not very interested on the show, she afraid of everything dark.
Destinee is oso very afraid and does not like movies dat are always showing dark dark scenes and ugly characters/cartoons. I have to accompany her to watch those movies e.g. Monsters Inc., Ice Age 1 & 2, Incredibles, Nemo and, haiyo, even Lilo and Stitch. She’s scared of Stitch’s teeth. She asked me “why his teeth are so sharp, so when he bites must be very pain pain and blood will come out lor”? *roll eyes*
Actually I don’t really like accompanying her to watch the VCDs (movies) cos she would be asking and asking and asking till the end of the show … haiyo. I prefer her to watch the cartoons on TV.
why so dark? probably becoz it is a “original copy”

yah, Isabelle pay attention to nice things.
she can say beautiful at this age..does she really know/mean what she said..?
ET, she does :), she can even show her feeling toward a song or music.
Yah I was wondering whether to get this original copy as some of these animation shows a bit advanced for the younger kids to understand. They lose interest after a while. Is it any good?
MG, yah, they lose interest after the first few minutes, so far they never sit still to watch any animation movie except Madagasca, don’t know why, but they can watch the whole mickey mouse movie wor, strange little people we have.
but anyway, I enjoy most of the animation LOL…
Hmm.. my 2 boys sat thru every movie we went..munching the pop corn & twistie away.. they really love movies and live shows too.. little J was too engrossed during the Disney on Ice show that he din even want to break for shee..shee..
Lucky for me, cos I love animation and live show too.. wink

I’ll post my Genting trip Day 2 & 3 soon.
I’ll bring my son to cinema watch “Cars” next week, hope he like it and wont scare of the dark at cinema.
