Swiss Garden Resort Pantai Balok, Kuantan — Accommadation

Last year Kuantan trip we stay at the Impiana Resort, the resort was OK, but this time we prefer some where nearer to the town and the Pantai Balok, where my late FIL’s ash rest.

SIL got us the Swiss Garden Resort Kuantan from her time sharing programme, and we avoid the weekend and book it for the weekday, so even though it is school holiday now, during weekday still not so crowded.

Oh, we can see the World cup fever is every where.

But the TV in the room have no sport channel, to make the guests go to the lounge watch the matchs.

The resort itself is OK, just like any other 4, 5 stars resort has all the necessary facilities, included a kids club (Tupai kids club) with a lot activities, but only for the kids 6 - 12 years old.

Our rooms was on the ground floor facing the swimming pool, but thanks to their sound proof structure, in the room we can’t hear the noise from the pool, which is good.

Everything in the room were well function, even though the bathroom light was out, but had been replace immediately.

OK, SIL#1 points out something very important about this resort, the room floor was just tiled not carpeted, which is good, because the sand and others “little creatures” can’t hide in the carpet, this is something I never notice.

We share one room with SIL, so there were three adults and two kids in the room, but then SIL#1 brought an air mattress, so one of the adult can sleep on the mattress (Twinsdad and Isabelle, she likes the air mattress, “new toilet”). There were sufficient pillows, but only two blankets, we call the housekepping and ask for one more, they said “cannot, one blanket for one bed only.”

And then later SIL said there is a signage at the hallway state “no outside mattress and comforter allowed”, wooo… so strict. But anyway, we still see families carrying the comforter in and out.

Wah seh! So the strict. Dunno how to do hotel business. If they really rate themselves as 4 or 5-star resort, they should accommodate to their guests. I mean bringing in additional mattress is one thing but at least give the guests additional pillows or blankets. They should learn from the real 4 or 5-star hotels/resorts. I can’t believe you guys still stay there. If it’s me, I’ll take my business elsewhere.
