Because of the vomiting, I follow the advice given by the paediatrician, gave milk to the girls in small amount.
They normally have milk twice a day, 9oz. each time. last two days I given several times a day, but 2 oz each time.
First time I pass the milk bottle to Annabelle, she takes a look then said:
“I want big (more) one.”
“But doctor said you will vomit, can’t take so much at one go, I give some more later, OK?”
She repeated this a few times later whenever I give her the milk.
Yesterday evening she seems much better, so I made a 4oz. PediaSure for her.
I pass her the bottle, she took a look then gaves me a stare and makes a expression, which I never see before on her face.
She said: “Wah… so big ah?”
:mroll:
getting better also means can being sarcastic to her mommy.

I’ve been tagged by Miracle8… and I think I had done a tag similar like this, but I lazy to look for it, so… here… again…
Four jobs I would stink at:
>> An Insurance agent. “Wanna buy insurance? If one day you die then you will have a lot of money, then you can goyang kaki no need to work.”
>> A coffin sell person. “Buy one get one free.” (I know, I know, old joke)
>> A kindergarten teacher. “Quiet! Quiet! Quiet! *coughing*… boohoohoo…*Sobbing* why they not listen to me wan?”
>> A ballet dancer. The stage need to enforce, and the ballet tutu need to custom make.
Four pretend nicknames I making up for myself:
>> dai-lor-yao (big butt), I always sit on the remote control and not aware of it.
>> titt-gaap-mo-dik-ma-ley-ah 铁甲无敌玛丽亚 (mighty robot Maria), an old Hong Kong movie, about a robot name Maria.
>> dai-tao-ha (big head prawn), you all know.
>> yee… no more wor.
Four movies I have watched over and over:
>> The Sound of Music. “:pn: how you solve the problem like Maria?…:pn:
>> My Fair Lady. “:pn: All I wantis a room some where, far away from the cool night air…:pn:”
>> Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Yah, I know it is violent, but it is witty and well plot, black humour.
>> Alien Quadrilogy. I like space or space horror movie, this is one of the movie I will watch when I am bore, aside from Star Wars (4, 5 and 6) and Predator (1, 2 and vs. Aliens).
Four places I have lived:
>> General Hospital, KL. The very first place I stay after came out from my mom’s womb.
>> Queenstown, Singapore. My grandparent’s place.
>> Pudu, KL. Not the Pudu Jail lar.
>> Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Guess I will be the permenant resident here.
Four things I love to do on my weekends:
>> more sleeping. *ZzZzZzZz…*
>> no cooking. *Yawning…*
>> out dining. *gulping…*
>> go shopping. *throwing…* money
Four TV shows I geek out to, or used to geek out to:
>> Friends. Over and over and over and over…
>> CSI(all three). Nothing better than this.
>> Cooking programme (Anthony Bourdain, Jamie Oliver, Nigella Lawson, Ben O’Donoghue and Curtis Stone). The first three I watch them talk and cook, the last two… cuci-mata @_@.
>> Scrubs. Another show as good as Friends.
Four alcoholic beverages I’ve enjoyed on offshore vacations :
>> N/A
>> N/A
>> N/A
>> N/A
I can’t take alcohol, only ang-jiu-mee-suah, but I don’t take that on offshore vacation wor, unless I brought along the wok cooking by the sea shore.
Four things I could NOT live without (besides oxygen, H20, and miscellaneous life-sustaining substances, included our kids and hubby and family member):
>> Money. Feel soooooo insecure without at least RM50 in my wallet, even though now a day RM50 couldn’t do much.
>> My spec. Mong-chacha…300 on one side, 400 on the other side, I can’t even hear properly without my spec (need to read lip mah).
>> Blogging. What do you think I am doing now?
>> Books or magazines. Without this two I feel very weird with my bare hand.
Four of my favorite foods, partnered with people with whom I enjoy eating said foods:
>> My homemade beef stew, Twinsdad don’t eat beef, so only me and the twins.
>> Ang-jiu-mee-suah (red yeast rice wine mee), Pudu wet market, KL. My parent like it too.
>> Smoked salmon with Djorn mustard on butter toast, a snack I enjoy when the girls on their nap.
>> Hazelnut Chocolate, all for myself hehehe… non for all of you hehehe…
Four places I would rather be right now:
>> GreatWall of China.
>> Forbidden City, Beijing, China.
>> Alaska, US. I want to see glacier, and watch aurora activity.
>> Any island with white sand and surrounded with sparkling clear blue ocean.
4 people I mercilessly tagged:
>> ShiauLin (I miss her so much :ms:)

>> Blogie-Talkie
>> Egghead (Hahaha… time for me to take revenge…. muahahaha…)

The twins show more and more preference on their likes and dislikes.
They choose their own toys by the colour, Isabelle always wants red or pink, Annabelle always opt for the blue, or green.
One is warm, one is cold.
During the Genting trip, there were this handicraftmen from China, selling their work and also demo on how they make it.
We came to this store selling copper wired bicycle, the workmanship are amazing, for this small bike (only the palm size), selling RM10, SIL bought the twins each, again one pick the red, one pick the blue.

The seam of the wheel are very well done, hardly notice there was a join.

The twins have good fun with their new bike, vrooming in the hotel room while we resting, role play riding the bike to work, to sleep, to bake cake, and the bike can even make banana cream pie!!! Whooo… wonderbike.
:s:
While I typing this, the twins are having their lunch, when I check on them, one have finished the rice left the dishes, one finished the dishes left the rice, and they start scooping their own food to each other to exchange their meal.
:mroll:
Why don’t they just exchange their bowl instead? Cheh, smart wor… I thought.

Genting was quite packed, even though Malaysia’s school holiday was over, but Singapore school holiday still a week to go. So we saw a lot Singapore cars around (cockroach was there wor, see?).
And I just found out I can differentiate the Singaporean from local, by listen to the way they speak Mandarin! Cool…
Singaporean’s Mandarin got a unique accent, 语气比较急促 (Earthtone 除外,她是懒人说话).
:s:
The highway going up and down at Genting are getting better and better, every gambler can go there simply point on a brick(s) and claim he/she donated it.
:s:
First World Hotel’s lobby check-in counter looks like a bus terminal (Twinsdad’s comment), or a well decorated hospital (my opinion), with roles of chair. Now think about it, it look like a bank too.
:s:
The deco in Genting give me a feeling of — peasant wear an emperor gown (或是东施效颦). no matter how they tried to copy the deco from oversea (LasVegas), it still lack of a lot of detail. Anyway… they might want to say that the visitors also got no good taste (emm? included me liao). Anyway, it is a artificial place, what I expect? cheh…
:s:
The most interesting attraction in Genting is cloud watching (for me personally), 坐看风起云涌。
:s:
I saw the Amber Court from the new wing of the First World Hotel, I don’t know how is inside, but it outlook is in such a sorry state. And the half built Billion Court looks like a haunted building next to Amber Court.
:s:
Genting used to have a lot of roses, but I can only see plenty of chrysanthemum now.
:s:
SIL said the room in First World Hotel new wing are a bit bigger than the old wing, she quote “Friend said she don’t even wants to bath in the old wing’s bathroom, too small to get in.”
That small meh?
:s:
To remind the visitors Genting is a place for gamble, the stuffs all have a similar face — poker face.
:s:
Dine in Happy Valley restaurant(Theme Park Hotel) have three dishes, are cheaper than having burger in fast food chain, and tastier, for at least three people.
:s:
Genting hotels are the only hotel I see a lot of Chinese signage around, seems like the visitors from China only visit Genting when they came to Malaysia.
:s:
People tells a lot of ghost stories happen in Genting, but I didn’t see one.
:s:
Everything in the Genting can be the prop or background for taking pictures, including the dustbin; and the 1 x 2 feet, 4 feet tall police counter — Twinsdad’s comment.
:s:
At the outdoor theme park while SIL riding the merry-g-round with the gilrs, over heard a cute old couple (about 60<>) conversation –
Old Auntie: “This one so slow wan, not chi-geek (exciting) at all.”
Old Uncle: “Neh, that one very chi-geek, go ride that one.” Point to the machine next to the merry-go-round, a spinning swing.
:s:
Judging from the above mention, I didn’t pay 100% full attention to the twins during the Genting visit, even though without the camera.

Did I mention before Genting Highland is kind of like a second home to my SIL? No? OK, let me tell you again, she loves to go up hill, ah, don’t get her wrong, she is not a big time gambler, she will rather spend the money on good food feeding herself, instead of feeding the slot machines. She likes genting so much because it is near KL, she enjoys the cool air, and most of all, she always gather enough points from her World card to get free stay (shopaholic mah :mp:). Because of her, we went up hill on the Monday.
Came back down yesterday noon, so tired… Twinsdad said: “Holiday came back so tired…” yah… after having kids, the vacation no longer rest and relax kind of trip.
Emm… Genting… a place that sucks all the money, from the casino to the theme park, from the adults to the kids, everything so expensive, but then… the kids very happy, so… to us once a year should be OK, unless everything 100% sponsor by someone.
Luckily (?) Twinsdad got the football lucky draw RM50 discount voucher (spend RM50 and above in single receipt in any outlet in Genting, get to join the draw, last till the World Cup end), so the damage on the whole day ticket for whole family in all theme park looks less hurt.
We got another RM50 hotel voucher on the second football lucky draw, valid till end of July, and SIL said wants to being the girls go Genting again! siao… even though the rental for the pigeon hole room got RM50 discount, unless we all no need to eat, otherwise the F&B bills can kill people.
Anyway…
The twins had good fun in the theme park, although Annabelle refused to play certain game in the beginning and the end, but at least she was OK to most of the game and machine in between.
Isabelle was the only one having 100% fun in the theme park, from the kiddy Bronco that made Annabelle cried to the slow moving Catapillar monorail. And I think she made the ticket well worth on riding the indoor Paris car ride over and over again, yah, not many kids at the night time, so she rides again and again for more than 20 rides, changing cars from one to another after each ride.
Me and Twinsdad are so tire right now, after walked a lot in the theme park, and not sleep well at night! Lesson learnt — never share room with SIL, gosh… her snore… like thunder, and I am a light sleeper. Last night slept at 2am, woke up at 4am to changed nappy for Isabelle, and couldn’t get back to sleep till morning!
more update later, but no photos.
Side note: the Canon workshop was fast! we sent the camera last Thursday, they said will need two weeks, but called yesterday the camera was ready to collect! obviously some connection problem, but still RM100 flew away from the wallet, now the camera all well function, sitting nicely quietly in the living room, so no complain.
