Just came back from another pleasant trip to east coast — Pantai Balok, Kuantan, Pahang. This year we stay at the Swiss Garden Resort Kuantan, compare with last year’s Impiana Resort, and the previous Hyatt Regency Kuantan, this resort has the best beach so far — the sand is so fine! so nice to walk on it, lovely.

Emm… everything were fine for this trip, the only unpleasant experience was the staffs in the resort not so friendly, especially the F&B, may be they are short of staff, that was why the service was slow and rude (but short of staff shouldn’t be an excuse for not being friendly right?). And even the housekeeping a bit “fierce”, why? The housekeeper came to SIL#1’s room for cleaning up, SIL#1 told her they was not ready to leave yet, the housekeeper asked them when they will leave the room :!:, they said 1 hour or so, the housekeeper said: “Ai yoh, banyak lama!”
And another sad thing was… the camera. After happily taken 50 over shoots, and found it got problem! The camera not focus, blank, nothing on the LCD screen only the setting. Tried to use the view finder to shoot, it is just black, nothing. may be while shooting at the beach, the salt water got splash on it without me notice.
So sad, no nice pictures.

At the first few hours I felt so dreadful “Gosh… I spoilt the camera! don’t know have to spend how much to fix it.” so my mind was all on the camera, every beautiful scene and fun moment remind me of the camera! Then later I thought my trip will spoil if I keep thinking about the camera, after all there was no way for us to find out what is wrong until we come back to KL and send it to the workshop, so I managed to shake away (or put aside) the camera, and start enjoy the trip again.
So in general we had a very fun and happy trip to east coast :mh2:
And this time we managed to see the baby sea turtles in The Cherating Turtle Sanctuary! Yes, the babies just hatch, and was kept in the “nursery”, the twins was so excited to watch it! That same night they got to let the babies sea tuttles crawl back to the sea, but we didn’t go back to watch it, because at the same night they going to have the “sea turtle lay egg show” as well, if I can’t accept public watch me give birth, certainly I wouldn’t want to be the person who intrude the sea turtle’s privacy (OK, Pelf-ism is different, she has the right to watch the turtle lay egg, and I think may be I should ask her to give us a “lesson” how to differentiate the type of turtles).
anyway, the girls were certainly more enjoy their trip than last year. And there are a lot more I want to write down about this trip, may be this one just the part 1 of part 3-4.

This post specially for Earthtone.

mom went to Singapore for almost a month, dad went over stay fro few days then came back alone. Free and easy at home, beside practise his qi-gong, also practise his Chinese calligraphy.
He wrote quite a lot, then Bridgette said what for to write all this, should write someting more romantic like “I love my wife, I miss you.” etc.
Then later dad wrote this “long separate my spouse (my mom’sname), quiet night alone hard to sleep, hope you come back soon, then again we can hold our hand and have a long chat” (something like this, my translation not that good, may be Earthtone wanna help?).
Mom came back wanted to nag dad not cleaning the house also cannot, after saw the “poem” dad wrote to her. Bridgette cunning, thought about this, not only mom not nagging dad for the messy house, also not nagging her as well, excellent!

I got this message from a forwarded e-mail, I don’t know how true it is, I never use tampons and I got no time to verify (outstation till Wednesday), can someone help verify it –
- -Info for the ladies…….
If you are a woman and use pads, but especially if you use tampons, read this and pass it on to your friends. For the men receiving this email, please forward it to your friends, significant others, sisters, mothers, daughters, etc. Thanks!
Check the labels of the sanitary pads or tampons that you are going to buy the next time and see whether you spot any of the familiar signs stated in this email. No wonder so many women in the world suffer from cervical cancer and womb tumors. Have you heard that tampon makers include asbestos in tampons? Why would they do this?
Because asbestos makes you bleed more, if you bleed more, you’re going to need to use more. Why this isn’t against the law since asbestos is so dangerous? Because the powers that be, in all their wisdom (not), did not consider tampons as being ingested and, therefore, did not consider them illegal or dangerous.
This month’s Essence magazine mentions 2 manufacturers of a cotton tampon alternative.
The companies are: Organic Essentials @ 1-800-765-6491 and Terra Femme @ 1-800-755-0212.
A woman getting her Ph.D. at Universityof Coloradosent the following:
“I am writing this because women are not being informed about the dangers of something most of us use: Tampons. I am taking a class this month and I have been learning a lot about biology and women, including feminine hygiene.
Recently we have learned that tampons are actually dangerous (for other reasons than TSS). After learning about this in our class, most of the females wound up feeling angry and upset with the tampon industry, and I for one, am going to do something about it. To start, I want to inform everyone I can, and email is the fastest way that I know how.
HERE IS THE SCOOP:
Tampons contain two things that are potentially harmful: Rayon (for absorbency), and dioxin (a chemical used in bleaching). The tampon industry is convinced that we, as women, need bleached white products in order to view the product as pure and clean. The problem here is that the dioxin, can lead to very harmful problems for a woman.
Dioxin is potentially carcinogenic (cancer-associated) and is toxic to the immune and reproductive systems. It has also been linked to endometriosis and lower sperm counts for men. For both sexes, it breaks down the immune system.
Last September, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reported that there really is no “acceptable” level of exposure to dioxin given that it is cumulative and slow to disintegrate.
The real danger comes from repeated contact (Karen Couppert “Pulling the Plug on the Tampon Industry”). I’d say using about 4-5 tampons a day, five days a month, for 38 years is “repeated contact”, wouldn’t you? Rayon contributes to the danger of tampons and dioxin because it is a highly absorbent substance.
Therefore, when fibers from the tampons are left behind in the vagina (as usually occurs), it creates a breeding ground for the dioxin. It also stays in a lot longer than it would with just cotton tampons.
This is also the reason why TSS (toxic shock syndrome) occurs.
WHAT ARE THE ALTERNATIVES?
Using feminine hygiene products that aren’t bleached and that are all cotton. Other feminine hygiene products pads/napkins) contain dioxin as well, but they are not nearly as dangerous.
So, what can you do if you can’t give up using tampons? Use tampons that are made from 100% UNBLEACHED cotton.
Unfortunately, there are very few companies that make these safe tampons.
They are usually only found in health food stores. Countries all over the world ( Sweden, Germany, British Columbia etc.) have demanded a switch to this safer tampon, while the UShas decided to keep us in the dark about it.
In 1989, activists in Englandmounted a campaign against chlorine bleaching.
Six weeks and 50,000 letters later, the makers of sanitary products switched to oxygen bleaching (one of the green methods available) (MS magazine, May/June 1995).
WHAT TO DO NOW?
Tell people. Everyone. Inform them. We are being manipulated by this industry and the government, let’s do something about it! Please write to the companies: Tampax (Tambrands); Playtex; O.B.; Kotex.
All the 1800 numbers are listed on the boxes.
Let them know that we demand a safe product: ALL COTTON UNBLEACHED TAMPONS.
REMINDER: In order not to lose the impact of this email, I suggest that anyone who wants to forward it to their friends, PLEASE copy this mail and paste it to a NEW message. That way it will not distort the whole message with all the forward arrows. Please do this with consideration and seriousness. Thanks.

At the traffic light…
“Daddy, Green light! Go! Go! Go!”
“Daddy, Red light! Stooooooooooop!”
On the highway…
“Daddy, drive faster, so slow.”
“Daddy, not so fast ah, very dangerous you know?”
Traffic Jam…
“Daddy, why you stop? Don’t stop.”
During smooth traffic…
“Daddy, stop! I want to see the train.”
In the boredom…
“Daddy, swing the car.” Then daddy has to do a little bit zigzag, depends on the situation.
In the end…
“Lou-po, bong ngo ya yan daam ya cui bei koi dei fen gao!” (dear, help me to give them a punch each and send them to sleep) LOL… of course, just kidding, we love to hear them talk, so gossip.
:s:
The twins are very chatty in the car, they can chat non-stop, very noisy, beside giving command to their daddy on the driving, also comment on everything they see on the road, everything that they know the name.
If they are quiet, which means… they fall in sleep.
We will have the surround sound system all the way to east coast.
Whoooo…

We was watching the animation “Over the Hedge”, Isabelle stand in front of me, I was combing her hair. Then came to the scene that after the Turtle came out from hibernation, the sun shinning on the pond, the dragonflies flying on the water. Isabelle saw it and “Whoooo…”, then immediately the Turtle also “Whooo….” on the scenery. Isabelle turns to me, point to the Turtle beaming “Turtle said ‘whooo’ too.” then she turns back face the TV and said: “That is beautiful.”
side note: Isabelle not very interested on the show, she afraid of everything dark.
