Just came back from another pleasant trip to east coast — Pantai Balok, Kuantan, Pahang. This year we stay at the Swiss Garden Resort Kuantan, compare with last year’s Impiana Resort, and the previous Hyatt Regency Kuantan, this resort has the best beach so far — the sand is so fine! so nice to walk on it, lovely.

Emm… everything were fine for this trip, the only unpleasant experience was the staffs in the resort not so friendly, especially the F&B, may be they are short of staff, that was why the service was slow and rude (but short of staff shouldn’t be an excuse for not being friendly right?). And even the housekeeping a bit “fierce”, why? The housekeeper came to SIL#1’s room for cleaning up, SIL#1 told her they was not ready to leave yet, the housekeeper asked them when they will leave the room :!:, they said 1 hour or so, the housekeeper said: “Ai yoh, banyak lama!”

And another sad thing was… the camera. After happily taken 50 over shoots, and found it got problem! The camera not focus, blank, nothing on the LCD screen only the setting. Tried to use the view finder to shoot, it is just black, nothing. may be while shooting at the beach, the salt water got splash on it without me notice.

So sad, no nice pictures.

At the first few hours I felt so dreadful “Gosh… I spoilt the camera! don’t know have to spend how much to fix it.” so my mind was all on the camera, every beautiful scene and fun moment remind me of the camera! Then later I thought my trip will spoil if I keep thinking about the camera, after all there was no way for us to find out what is wrong until we come back to KL and send it to the workshop, so I managed to shake away (or put aside) the camera, and start enjoy the trip again.

So in general we had a very fun and happy trip to east coast :mh2:

And this time we managed to see the baby sea turtles in The Cherating Turtle Sanctuary! Yes, the babies just hatch, and was kept in the “nursery”, the twins was so excited to watch it! That same night they got to let the babies sea tuttles crawl back to the sea, but we didn’t go back to watch it, because at the same night they going to have the “sea turtle lay egg show” as well, if I can’t accept public watch me give birth, certainly I wouldn’t want to be the person who intrude the sea turtle’s privacy (OK, Pelf-ism is different, she has the right to watch the turtle lay egg, and I think may be I should ask her to give us a “lesson” how to differentiate the type of turtles).

anyway, the girls were certainly more enjoy their trip than last year. And there are a lot more I want to write down about this trip, may be this one just the part 1 of part 3-4.
